Greenville is such a wonderful place to get married! There are SO many wedding venues all over the city, and the possibilities are endless in making your big day what you’ve always dreamed!

One of our favorite Greenville venues that we didn’t mention in that post is The Upper Room in downtown Greenville. It boasts beautiful and varied backdrops for both the ceremony and reception, and one of its most unique features is that it has a rooftop garden. How cool is that to get married on a rooftop?!

Typically people have their ceremony on the rooftop, and their reception in the Main Room. Here are some images from a wedding at The Upper Room. But you can switch it up! You can have the ceremony in the main room and the reception on the rooftop. Or you can have both in the main room. Or both on the rooftop!

Below are some photos that showcase the versitality of the space! We absolutely love the exposed brick in The Upper Room. The beams in the ceiling also give it an industrial feel that we think is super cool! And how about that rooftop?! What better place to get married than with the Greenville Skyline in the background?! Nothing beats that in our opinion!

Portrait Options in Downtown Greenville

One of the great things about getting married at The Upper Room it that you have the entire downtown as a possible backdrop for your photos! Falls Park offers beautiful spots and there are so many places to photograph there! We literally find a new favorite spot to shoot every time we shoot there! It’s AMAZING!! Another favorite downtown spot for pictures is at the Wyche Pavilion. We can literally go anywhere!
