Brittany & Chad were married this past Saturday at Iron Oak Barn in Pendleton, SC! All day long the forecast was calling for rain. But it didn’t rain at all! We had overcast skies which was perfect because it allowed us to use the front of the barn which we weren’t sure we’d be able to do if it was sunny! Overcast skies actually allow for brighter colors which is awesome! We had the most perfect day.

Brittany and Chad’s Story

Brittany and Chad are so sweet! They met on Christmas Eve 2019. Brittany’s parents invited Chad to their annual Christmas Eve Trail ride and asked Brittany to help him learn how to ride horses. Brittany and Chad love farm life, cooking, hiking, antiquing, watching movies, traveling, and trying new things together. We asked Brittany how she knew Chad was the one and she said talked mostly about the way he treats other people. Chad is such a class act. He’s kind and caring and you can tell he would do anything for anyone!

Their Proposal

When Chad proposed, he asked Brittany on a date night on his farm. She followed a path of rose petals to where he was waiting for her. He read from a journal entry in 2019 about how God was leading him to her and the promises he would make and fulfill with Brittany. Isn’t that just so sweet?

Iron Oak Barn

Brittany and Chad are easy going and love rustic things and antiques, and their wedding reflected that! They got married at Iron Oak Barn, which was the perfect place for their wedding! It is right next to a history museum and some historic features. The grounds were so beautiful and we loved capturing their photos! Iron Oak Barn also did the BBQ catering which was FANTASTIC! We’ll be thinking about that brisket forever!
